It is easily soluble in water and gives off formaldehyde, slowly dissolves in cold water, and can dissolve in sodium hydroxide and carbonate solution, but insoluble in alcohol and aldehyde.

3. Storage: store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. The storage temperature should not exceed 32 ℃, and the relative humidity should not exceed 80%. It should be stored separately from oxidant, reducing agent, acid, alkali, etc., and should not be mixed storage. Explosion proof lighting and ventilation facilities are adopted. It is forbidden to use mechanical equipment and tools that are easy to produce sparks. The storage area should be equipped with suitable materials to contain the leakage.
